If you've received a Home Energy Squad report through the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE), you may be eligible for special low-interest financing options that make upgrading your Minneapolis or St. Paul home more affordable. Green Spirit can help you navigate the process and find the right clean energy loan.
Utility Rebates with Xcel Energy & CenterPoint Energy
Xcel Energy & CenterPoint Energy rebates are often available for:
- HVAC systems (including heat pumps, mini splits, central AC, furnaces, and boilers)
- Water heaters (including heat pump hot water heaters)
- Insulation and air sealing
- Electrical panel upgrades

Forthcoming Home Energy Rebates
Two new Home Energy Rebate programs are on the way from Minnesota's Department of Commerce:
- The Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR)
- The Home Efficiency Rebate Program (HOMES)
These programs will offer rebates on electrification and whole-home energy performance upgrades, but they are not yet active. Green Spirit is watching closely and will notify customers as soon as they launch.

State-Level Rebate Programs (Also Coming Soon)
Minnesota has also announced additional state heat pump and electrical panel rebates that can be combined with the above rebates for even more savings. As with the federal rebates, Green Spirit will be among the first to help you access them once they launch.
