What we collect

The only information this site collects about you is what you type into a form and send us. That is your name, your email address, your phone number, your home address, your preferred timing, how you heard about us, and whatever you write in the message field.

We ask for these because we cannot plan a home energy upgrade or return your call without them. We do not ask for anything we do not need, and there is no account to create.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you, to talk about your home, and to plan and coordinate work if you decide to hire us. That is all.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers or data brokers.

Who else sees it

Two kinds of people and companies:

• The trade partners we coordinate with. If we are planning work on your home, the electricians, insulators, plumbers or HVAC installers on your project need to know where you live and how to reach you. We share only what a partner needs to do their part of the job.
• The services that run this site. Our website host and our email delivery service handle your message in the course of getting it to us. They are bound to keep it confidential and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We will also share information if the law requires it.

Analytics

We use Umami to count page visits and anonymous actions such as consultation-button clicks and completed form submissions. This helps us understand which parts of the site are useful. The contents of the form, including your name and contact information, are never sent to Umami. Umami does not use cookies, follow you across other websites, or build a profile about you.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and there is nothing here that follows you around the internet afterwards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and project records for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards, because home energy work has a long tail — warranties, follow-up questions, and later phases of a plan. If you would rather we deleted your information sooner, ask us and we will.

Your choices

Write to us at the address below and you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. We will not make you jump through hoops, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is meant for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will change this page. Significant changes will be obvious rather than buried.
